Gloucester’s Dewi Lake in full flow with two tries in emphatic win at Exeter

Gloucester 45-24 Exeter

Ben Loader also crosses twice in bonus-point triumph

Gloucester are intent on climbing the Premiership standings this term and this represented a highly encouraging initial step. The Cherry and Whites had secured a bonus point by halftime during a gusty afternoon in Devon and possessed sufficient energy to extend a 14-point advantage at the break, claiming an early confidence-boosting victory on the road.

Given they managed only a single league win away from home throughout the 2025-26 season, this seven-try barrage was a significant positive, driven by their fresh Welsh additions Dewi Lake and Jac Morgan. Lake rightfully earned man-of-the-match honours, touching down twice and making substantial contributions to Gloucester’s performance in both scrums and lineout drives.
